Guenoult letter : Bricqueborg , to M. le Sous Préfet, [Molsheim?] : ALS, 1853 Oct. 22.

A letter refusing surrender of a French tri-color flag that has been decorated with the Imperial eagle and the name of the Emporer Napoléon III. The village never got a new flag under the old monarchy, or after 1848; and this flag was paid for by several owners.
